Dr. Akash Rose knows the fallibilities of the Indian education system very well. He understands that Indian students struggle a lot when it comes to applying for jobs outside India. The main cause of this problem is that the Indian education places greater emphasis on theory whereas the Western countries are more practical oriented. Hence, Indian students face a disadvantage when applying for jobs outside India due to their lack of practical experience.

Photography has always been a hobby with Akash Rose. He has completed a certification course in digital imaging as well. That which started as a hobby from the age of just 7 years became a full-fledged profession. He has written a book on Photo Techniques Teaching Series by the name of ‘The Art of Photography’. Seeing his expertise in this field, Canon India has authorized NICC to teach students advanced digital imaging purely because Akash Rose is at the helm of affairs. They have great confidence in his abilities to teach the nuances of photography to students of this institute.
Digital imaging and cross-platform integrated designing are his strengths. Seeing his capability in this field, the Government of India has conferred on him the honor of being the External Examiner at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad for six years in a span of eight years from 2009. This is a tremendous achievement because such posts are given to new persons every year. That a single person has managed to be at the helm for 6 years is because of the tremendous confidence that the Government of India has in his capabilities.
